After talking with Giftfish about the lack of wardrobe space that the aliens of Mass Effect have, I decided to upload a bunch of photos from the Mass Effect Concept Art book. Primarily this is for those modders who can make new models and want to make something different but "loreful". These should give lots of ideas. I'll update this quite frequently tonight, but feel free to post about any images you really like. Also, keep an eye out for the new alien species that never made it into the game, he's hiding in one piece of art!

Kett/Angaran Weapon?
The following image depicts the Pathfinder meeting two aliens wielding a technologically advanced looking spear. I cannot assign the art to the Kett or the Angara, as the Angara had a number of designs that echo the kett, and the people in the image feel like some halfway point between the two species. It is possible that the tech is actually Remnant rather than either, or none of the above.

Cool, thanks so much. There's some interesting casual human outfit designs in there as well.

For Ashley I previously ran into these, where I felt the alternate design of her ME3 default outfit looked a lot more interesting.
In theory it's not even that hard to adjust the default mesh to achieve a similar look. It's something I've been toying with for a while.
Might still remove the boob-window in the concept design, but overall I quite like it.

I think the one on the left looks best, the middle one is too dark but the left one has the colour scheme of the Alliance uniforms in it, which works nicely. I actually think there are a lot of great concepts that could be made use of for the game to add variety. Hopefully when the Art of Mass Effect book is delivered it will have more that are worth posting.

I would commit dark deeds, very dark deeds, for the second outfit.

In a seriousness though: The second outfit is more in keeping with the alliance 'uniform-standard' And I agree: the boob window can go away.
