DLC Unlocker from Erik JS ? Works with legit game?

Sorry for the stupid title.

Well, I found on the old forum a topic about DLC Unlocker, and there was an interesting post from a guy called Erik JS. It posted just a binkw32 file to avoid DLC check from Cerberus.
That was not clear, was if it works with legit game without modded EXE files, and there are no risks to have a ban from Origin.

I don't pirate games, but I hate the Bioware Points system.
