Hi, whenever I open ME3Explorer the program instantly crashes. Does anyone know what causes this or a fix to this? And before asking, yes I have .NET Framework installed. Thanks for taking the time to read this and please let me know if you know a fix.

If the program crashes on launch there really can only only be a couple causes:
1. A dependency is missing on your system (the correct version of NET Framework, or something else). You can try to use DependencyWalker to figure out what it is, but I'm not sure the program is compatible with Win10. Are you on 8.1 or 10?
2. AV is blocking the program.
Also, which games from the trilogy do you have installed?

1. I took your advice and installed DependencyWalker, I went to file, open, and clicked on ME3Explorer.exe, after finished loading the module box contained 6 errors, and the box at the bottom had 2 warning messages. I took a screenshot for you to take a look for yourself. Check it here. And I am running on Windows 8.1. I've used previous versions of ME3Explorer on Windows 8.1 before and they worked just fine, however now it just crashes whenever I open it. 2. What should I do if that is the case? I have all 3 games, but as of right now I've only installed Mass Effect 3 on my PC. I'm going to install the other two now anyway.

I can't help much with that. NET Framework -- Which version(s) do you have? 4.6.1? 4.6.2?

The NET Framework versions I have are as following. CDF, 2.0.50727, 3.0, 3.5, 4, 4.0 and 4.6.2 And the toolset requires 4.6.1. Download via the link on the wiki: me3explorer.wikia.com/wiki/Getting_StartedAlso, if you haven't gone through this guide (which seems to be a possibility), you should.

I am familiar with that guide and I have read most of it before. Also for your information I have in fact already downloaded the link that guide provides, however when I went to install it, I get the message "Your installation will not occur. See below for reasons why." and in the details section it says ".NET Framework 4.6.1 or a later update is already installed on this computer.".

All that we have to go by is the information you provide. If you specifically tell us you don't have the version of NET framework the toolset requires, that's a flag and could be causing your problem. It looks like 4.6.2 includes 4.6.1 (this isn't always the case with NET Framework; they aren't always cumulative), so you're probably okay. kfreon should have some ideas once he looks at your DW output.

Yeah sorry about that, I was only giving out the list of NET framework it said I have in regedit which didn't say 4.6.1 despite that I installed it from a 4.6.1 download exclusive. I shall await for kfreon's response to this and hopefully he'll have a fix to my problem.

After some googling, apparently those errors in DependencyWalker aren't particularly reliable, and could be nothing or one of a million redistributable packages. So next step, lets look in the Event Log. So easiest way is to have your PC on for a while, then run the toolset, let it crash, then go to Event Log (can just type "event log" into the Start search) and look in Error and Warning. Look for things regarding "ME3Explorer" or ".NET Framework".

Btw, since you mentioned Event Log I decided to open it and have a look to see if I could find anything and this is what I found in .NET Runtime.

What's dangerous? By toolset, I mean ME3Explorer. The Event Logs you posted show a bunch of errors. I do wonder though if it's the old issue of not having the other 2 games installed, so maybe try that.

When you said "have your PC on for a while" and "let it crash" I thought you were saying that I should let my PC crash so I can run some kind of toolset on it or something. Sorry. I'll give that a try after my PC has been on for some lengthy hours. But I have a question, as you said "Look for things regarding "ME3Explorer" or ".NET Framework"." when I find them what do I do next? Just send you a screenshot of them or something?

Yep, just copy and paste the text like from your second screenshot into PasteBin or something. But do try installing ME1 and ME2 and see if that fixes it.
