Trying to extract the ending slides from the Extended Cut; selected its DLC folder and pressed "Add DLC to Tree", but there are no BioD folders in Texplorer.

arianrhod -- Your "question" here is profoundly confusing. I put question in quotes, since you've asked no question. You've simply made a rushed, fraction of a statement. If you want people to take *their* time to help you, *you* need to put some time and thought into your posts. 1. "Trying to extract the ending slides from the Extended Cut" Slides? Do you mean the images of ME2 squadmates that appear during the ending? These are BIK movies. You don't need Texplorer to view them. You need RAD Video Tools. 2. "Add DLC to Tree" Before I changed it, your thread topic title said: "DLC not added to tree". Really? Have you located a texture that you know appears during the ending and therefore MUST be in an EC file, and then looked up that texture in Texplorer to see if any EC DLC PCCs are listed? Something like... the Alliance fatigues worn by Joker during the Memorial Scene? I can guarantee that Add DLC to Tree works in v3.0. I've used it. 3. "BioD in Texplorer" Texplorer doesn't display textures by file, it displays them by export package name. Open up any BioD file in PackEd and scroll near the bottom. You'll see that the texture exports don't have BioD in their package structure. You should also note that there are only 8 BioA names in Texplorer, yet BioA files contain almost all the art assets in the game. And, there are lots of BioT packages in Texplorer, yet there are no BioT game files. There is almost no correlation between the Texplorer folder structure and game file structure. ---- Hope that clears things up. Moving this to Basic Modding, as this is a "how to" question and not a toolset usage question.

Sorry; what I meant is: where can I find the EC slides? Not the flashbacks of squadmates, but the images.

Just looked through the entire ME3 tree in Texplorer after adding DLC to tree; EC IS installed on my computer. The ending slides are textures. They should be shown in Texplorer... Going to open the EC files in package editor. Maybe that will give me a hint as to what is going on.

*headdesk* Ohhhhh my god. I feel like such an idiot. I thought the ending slides were images presented like like a powerpoint. They were videos the whole time.
SOLVED

*headdesk* Ohhhhh my god. I feel like such an idiot. I thought the ending slides were images presented like like a powerpoint. They were videos the whole time. SOLVED Exactly. You *thought*. You're inexperienced and a modder *who has released a mod that adds new flashbacks and flashforwards to the end game* answered your question. You then proceeded to tell them (me) they were wrong. Think about that for a moment. To be clear, I'm not angry and I don't take this personally. I'm actually laughing. But, I think it's important you realize this is not the first time this has happened with you. Please take this bit of advice: If you're going to take the time to post, you should take the time to listen. Truly listen. The modders we have here are experienced and knowledgeable. We don't talk out of our asses (most of the time). And, on the occasions that we're not sure about something, most of us will be very clear about that in our response

I'm really sorry about all of this. I have a problem where I get stuck in my own head, obsessed on a particular thought or idea or notion I get - even if its totally ungrounded - and tune out anything and everything else, not listen to others, just think about the ONE thing and obsess on it and worry about it for a really long time before I snap out of it and realize I've just made a total ass of myself, or that I've been obsessing over something totally ridiculous for days. I've wasted a lot of my time obsessing and perseverating on "problems" or worries that don't really exist. Also didn't really take the time to realize that you were probably also referring to the flashbacks AND flashforwards; probably because I was freaking out about ocean dead zones that night or North Korea or some crap I probably can't remember because I moved on to worrying about something else. (That's why I make nitpicky mods, because I can't enjoy the game because ALL I can think about is: these are blwebs. Why are there blewbs? This is ridiculous, this is not Bayonetta. I really need to cover up the blwebs/)
It is kind of funny in retrospect; when I first started using Me3 Explorer I was so enchanted and obsessed with the idea of replacing Benezia's mesh that I tried to get Meshplorer to open her Me1 UPK for several days until I finally snapped out of my button mashing trance and realized "Oh, crap. They don't support Me1 mesh modding." My first post here saw me - as I'm sure you remember - was the asinine AutoTOC bs. So, yeah. I'm really sorry. And I'm working on staying out of the scary obsessive zone. Its great for studying and finishing essays last minute; not so great for anything else. I'd be terrible on the suicide mission: so obsessed with a door or some heat valve that I'd forget about everything else and be dead. :/

We all have our idiosyncracies, so, no worries. It's good that you are aware of it, and since you are, I'd suggest one of two things. One, you either *don't* ask questions when you're in one of these "zones", since you *know* you won't be able to listen to the person who answers you. Or, two, BEFORE you post your question, take a day or two to step back from the issue. Maybe that will help create the distance in perspective that you need to be able to both better evaluate the situation and listen I'd be terrible on the suicide mission: so obsessed with a door or some heat valve that I'd forget about everything else and be dead. :/ Lol.
