@bfritos won't your damage output take a hit (At least in terms of weaponry)?
Argh, so much RL issues on the way, sorry for the late response. And too much BSN time also.
Actually is minimal, since with this setup you can have your weapon load out around 150%, still being able to use powers proficiently and choose very powerfull weapons. If you have the weapon load out at 138% your power cooldown will be exactly like a vanilla game, overload for example will have 2.22 sec (or 2.46 if you didn't pick the rank 5 cooldown speed evolution).
150% of weapon weigh for example allows you to use the Wrath shotgun with the upgrade from Omega DLC, the accuracy mod and the Hurricane smg. The Wrath became a beast with this setup.
Or you can mix it and equip the Valiant for sniping, Talon for hard targets with ultralight mod and the Lancer for general purpose. Or the Black Widow for sniping and Hurricane for general killing.
The possibilities are endless.
Oh and you choose the weapon damage evolution when chasing the intel around the galaxy, 20% of weapon damage plus the doctor and 10% of Demolisher armor it's what I have. The impact is minimal.
However, the most gratifying build I tried is the Vanguard with the Rage implant. I can kill banshees by brawling them! Urrah! Actually you kill EVERYTHING with melee, nova becomes pratically useless also and most of the time you don't need weapons. LOL

I would so go back for another playthrough, but work is keeping me very busy. Will likely wait until the Christmas holidays - hopefully the next update is out by then. The wait is killing me.

If somebody is planning a me3 playthrough we need testers for v1.09. The main difference is that the war asset system has some major changes: - the player is always at 100% galactic readiness - how difficult the best outcome can be preselected depending on which mode: Normal: war assets targets are same as original x2 (so adjusted for the galactic readiness change). i.e. Best outcome requires 6200 from 3100 previously. Galaxy at war: Slightly harder to achieve the best outcome but much more likely to get the worst end game outcomes Extinction Event: This mode provides the biggest challenge. It is very difficult to achieve the best outcome by only doing a paragon style playthrough. Tough decisions required.
The system also calculates and adjusts the targets depending on whether this is a trilogy playthrough or me3 only. In the war asset console it shows the target for the best outcome rather than an average level.
If anybody is interested let me know.

Hey there Kinkojiro. I just wanted to say that this mod is fantastic. It's made ME3 feel like a new game again, and I've loved reading the new war reports. It makes it feel as though there actually is a war going on, with distant battles being won and lost without Shepard being directly involved. Oh, and seeing the massed fleets assembled for the final push on Earth gave me goosebumps. Very impressive work!
This mod has inspired me to learn how to mod for myself and I'd like to give something back to the project by doing some really boring work, if that's OK. In a previous job I did copyediting and refereeing for scientific journals; I've got a good eye for typos, and I noticed just a few in my playthrough. If you want, I could carefully go through the English .tlk file and suggest some corrections. Let me know if you're interested, and how best to send you my corrections.

tnatceso glad you enjoyed and even happier it has encouraged you to join the modding community. I am happy for you to go through and point out any typos. Our writers did a very good job of cleaning up my gibberish, but there is always a chance we missed something. The tlk is very large and there are lots of moving parts (hints to lore and parts of the gameplay), so there won't be anything complex changed (i.e. whole parts being rewritten or stylistically changed). 2 requests: (1) please do not change any meaning, focus on typos and obvious mistakes. (2) submit your suggestions via a redline document so I can clearly see what has changed. Feel free to PM me on the forums. Thanks.

Hi Karlov, I am sorry we don't generally give out the list of all the war assets in egm. If we make it easy for people then the temptation is to meta-game the war assets, and role play less, which is kind of what we want to get away from and the reason we designed the mod. I know this is an old post, but I would hope that in the future, we could get a list of the added assets. I've been able to acquire most of them (I think) in the mod, but considering that there may be some players who are going into second or third playthroughs with this mod, it would be nice to have a sort of walkthrough that explains where to get these assets, even if it's just for missions like Evacuation of Thessia. And for me, I'm all about metagaming. I practically make it a requirement, as I often want to see the most a game (or mod) can offer.

Hi kinkojiro,
sorry to be so late getting back to you, but real life stuff has kept me away from the computer for a while. I've finished the copyedits, including a redline .docx that details all the changes. Is there a specific format or formats you prefer, and where should I send it? I was going to PM you with this, but currently I can only PM staff members. My account is probably too new to directly message non staff members.
