Hello, I'm really sorry to bother you fine ladies and gentlemen with this issue. I've Googled and has gone through every resource that I stumbled upon, now I come to you for wise counsel. What I'm trying to do is pretty simple : change the stats of the Particle Rifle (increase damage, increase mag size, etc.) available in the From Ashes DLC How I tried to achieve it : With the SFAR Editor 2 and the SFAR Basic Editor, by first extracting the file in question ( Default_DLC_HEN_PR.bin) from the SFAR archive, editing it (used Wenchy's Coalesced Editor for that) and updating the TOC file accordingly with the new file size details and finally rebuilding the SFAR. Problem that I ran into: Theoretically my approach is sound and has already been addressed by a post in the previous forum ( me3explorer.freeforums.org/edit-dlc-coalesced-t98.html) but when I finish the whole process this is what happens: - The game loads perfectly without any errors during the startup phase where it checks for the DLCs BUT once I'm in the game there's no option to land on Eden Prime and any and all traces of From Ashes DLC is just GONE! Do mind the fact that no other DLCs are affected by this phenomenon.
- When I restore backup of the default SFAR file everything is back to normal, I have an option to land on Eden Prime and raise Hell aginst the Cerberus raiders, no problem!
I even downloaded an older version of the ME3Explorer to try on the TOC Bin Editor for a hands on approach rather than trying the more modern and sophisticated approach but to no avail. Now I come before you humbly for a solution if you would be kind enough to give me one or even point me in the direction.

You cannot use Wenchy with DLC. You have to use Tankmaster's tool.

Also make sure to extract the files out of SFAR instead of using sfar editor.

You cannot use Wenchy with DLC. You have to use Tankmaster's tool. Actually, this isn't correct. The toolset's coalesced editor now uses TankMaster's code and is capable of all the same things. The wiki hasn't been updated with this info, yet, but it's in the release notes for the version in which it was added. Use the toolset's coalesced editor for DLC. TankMaster's tool was a beta and never officially released . It was also generally aimed at toolset modders, not standard users. Also make sure to extract the files out of SFAR instead of using sfar editor. Also, to be clear, users should not need to do this manually. Just allow the DLC extraction at the prompt upon opening the toolset. If your DLC is still packed in SFARs, it will tell you. At least, unless you've disabled the messages in the settings.
