Hi, everyone; pleasure to be here. I'm Nicole Jon, which are my actual first and middle names. I live in Illinois, US (St. Louis Metro, not Chicago). I usually mod games to the hilt, which is satisfying on so many levels; I'm definitely one that gets as much pleasure from troubleshooting and tinkering as with playing my modded game. I've been SO impressed by the toolset and the support and the quality of the content mods for this series (seriously, you guys, just stunning! Bravo!) that I've been tripping down this rabbit hole for months now and feeling no need to come up for air. I think I'll just keep going and see where it takes me. Thanks to you all for making this scene what it is; I love it!

Thank you Yep! I'm having so much fun playing around, but I'm SO novice; not eager to embarrass myself but I won't forget how much pleasure I've gotten from others' mods, I will eventually HAVE to pay that back, if I can, on principle! <3

That's great! ^^ We're all novices to begin with, I still am , you'll get there! Any idea what kind of mods you'd like to make?

Thank you, again! I think I'll have to see if any latent modding talents crop up before I start to channel energy into a particular direction, haha. Do YOU see a need for modding in a particular area? Any burrs under your saddle? Could I direct my growth to fulfill a particular wish? ...in the distant future?

And that marks the first time anyone has asked me if I have burrs under my saddle I have only one released mod so far, but I have a thread in the Basic Modding section for my other mods that I'm working on. I'd say that we're doing pretty well with different mods, we have new powers, we have story mods or character mods, appearance mods and the like. What I'd suggest is that you think of what it is you really feel that the game is lacking. For me, I felt the combat had grown too easy, and I felt that the Spectre Terminal was criminally under-used, and that the lesser species of the galaxy were utterly overlooked. So my mods focus on those above all else. What is it you feel is missing, if anything? I'd say that most mods would welcome someone who is very keen to learn, though you may end up just being a bug tester

Wonderful idea! My lore-loving, inner narrativist just squealed in agreement with you. I am so happy being a bug tester or WHATEVER that is helpful, I do not have to create. I am still reeling from the discovery of WHAT IS POSSIBLE with these content mods! So. Cool.
Also...I have to confess...I'm, uh, still in my FIRST ME3 playthru. (I KNOW!) So I really don't even know what I will think the series is missing yet. Haha, I'm such a mess; I crack myself up.
EDIT: And is "burrs under your saddle" a regional metaphor? Did I out myself as...Midwestern? Lol

Go forth, and ask to bug test! Your first ME3 playthru though? Damn, not heard anyone say that for awhile. What mods are you using? Got any of the DLC?

All the DLC. And over on the Nexus, I shocked Deager with my complete mod list but, as I said, I do mod to the hilt. - EGM
- JAM
- CEM
- ThaneMod
- ME3Re
- BackOff
- Ken and Gabby Recruitment Restoration
- Urz on the Normandy
- FemShep's Armory
- EGM Alliance Warpack
- Hair Mod
- EGM Extras Pack
- EGM HR Vehicle Pack
- Individual Cooldowns
- Interface Scaling AddOn Mod
- EGM Miranda Mod
- Vignette Remover
- SP Controller Support
- Better Cabin Music
- N7 Shirt Replacer
- ALOT
- The ALOT AddOn Pack
- Tarshana's Textures for Men
- GPG's Bling Dragon Armor
- GPG's Bling Dress
- GPG's Kaidan Beefcake
- and I swapped Kaidan's FRM for the Kaidan Spectre Jacket
- ENB
- and Coalesced.bin tweaks in a pear tree!
(Btw, if there's a spoiler tag for this forum, can ya let me know? I Googled it, but nothing good resolved.) Do I even know what the Vanilla Game actually looks like? Not really. But I had some girlfriends over (the kind who shun digital downloads so we can wait in line for midnight releases together) that DO and we had a HOLY CRAP THIS IS AWESOME mod showcase AND. I. BLEW. THEM. AWAY. So, thanks for that, everybody!!! <3 <3 <3 P.S., I'd have finished my playthru by now, but I got bogged down modding my own version of Anderson's Apartment, haha, and then WHOOPS! I'm here. P.P.S., and, OBVIOUSLY, now I need to scoop up Mass Horizons: Respawn!

....Well, you've surpassed my list, that is an awful lot of mods! Good to see someone else making use of SP Controller mod, I just can't play without it on PC. ME just isn't the kind of game to sit at a desk and play, best to chill out on a couch with a gamepad ^^ And do download Respawn! It'll make the game a lot harder, but it's more rewarding for it. And my opinion is not bias in the slightest . Try out the Cerberus Labs edit I added as a separate download, it is slightly different depending upon the Collector Base mission choice from ME2 . Can't wait to see what you think of it The spoiler tag is spoiler and /spoiler but wrapped up in [ and in ] Midnight releases... damn, I've not done that in about a decade. I no longer shun digital downloads, physical copies take up too much space in my room . It'd be great to experience ME3 for the first time with mods installed, I do wonder what I'd have thought of it if I had

....Well, you've surpassed my list, that is an awful lot of mods! Good to see someone else making use of SP Controller mod, I just can't play without it on PC. ME just isn't the kind of game to sit at a desk and play, best to chill out on a couch with a gamepad ^^ SP Controller Mod FOR THE WIN! I do actually have the Razer Turret -which would be the greatest thing ever IF IT WERE BACKLIT-, so I COULD "'slum it' with a mouse and keyboard," to quote Deager, while in my living room chair. If I wanted to. (I'm actually setup for 100% couch-gaming. I don't even own a desk.). BUT I WOULD NEVER DO THAT. Mgamerz works so hard on compatibility and was super patient with me when I had an issue and it's just a great mod! I'm so grateful for it! I actually played ME1/2 years ago on Xbox and now I can't make the switch. Well...I pretty much use controllers wherever possible, despite KNOWING that mouse/keyboard is technically superior. And as far as digital downloads are concerned, I don't shun them! Yeah, who wants to keep physical copies of stuff?! Not me! But I DO like to grab some friends and some huge coffees and do some extreme tailgating at my town's game store and REALLY nerd it up for releases I'm passionate about. I'm talking folding chairs and theme snacks and portable heaters and party games with randoms. It's usually holiday season, so it's cold and epic and nerdy and glorious! And I think it's important that people physically see my particular demographic (adult and female) represented so they don't think we're made up. :/
