Hello ME3Explorer community! Sorry that my first post is asking for help but I'll make an intro post soon for sure.
I'm having a very strange problem regarding using .tpf files, where while the files themselves are found in the tree just fine, and are (seemingly) replaced just fine, the actual textures don't show up in-game. Now, to head off some questions.
- Yes, I have followed the instructions in the Wiki, repeatedly
- Yes, I have vanilla'd my files, also repeatedly
- Yes, the trees have been populated. When loading the .tpf all files have been found / converted from the .dds file, and I receive a "Installed X of X valid" message when installing. No errors at all about trees not being found, no errors saying that the file is incompatible, nothing of the sort.
- Yes, I have the most recent version of ME3Explorer
- The only official DLC I have is From Ashes and the weapons / armour that came with the Digital Deluxe preorder
I do not have a whole heck of a lot installed, for the record. The mods I have are as follows, and in order of installation:
- hair mod "dlc" (did not edit textures at all for this one, just a drag and drop with a gibbed edit)
- MEHEM (which was an .exe so I didn't mess with textures either)
- ME1 Kaidan Texture
- ThaneMod
^ The last two are where I am encountering difficulties. For the ThaneMod in particular, the guide for the mod says that these files should show up in my file explorer as being recently updated (SFXImages_Codex1.pcc and SFXImages_GameManual_10.pcc). Unfortunately, they do not, even though I receive 0 errors on TPF Tools that would indicate that the files were not replaced correctly.
For the Kaidan texture, I have tried both a manual replace of .dds files individually as per the original mod instructions, and (after vanillaing) tried a TPF install. Neither show up in-game despite receiving 0 errors as well.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
