So I was toying around with the Mod Maker Extraction process. I was hoping to use it to install some meshes that I did not have the UPK file for and saw that I might be able to extract the meshes as BIN files from the MOD files and then use the Replace with BIN function in Package editor to include those meshes into a PCC of my choosing.
That sounds simple enough but it did not work for me.
Here was my process.
I extracted the mesh from a MOD file as a BIN
I opened a PCC file (In this case a copy of the BIOG_HMF_ARM_CTH_R)
I selected the CTHk package in the Tree view.
I chose "replace with BIN" from the EDIT menu
I selected the extracted BIN file from the orginial MOD file.
It said "DONE"
I saved the PCC
When I went to look at the file in Meshplorer there was no change to the mesh.
Am I misinterpreting what this tool is for? Am I missing a step?
Thanks in advance for any help
