Hello All,
Context:
Am creating a new armour set that is a combination of other pieces/components from ME3 armours. I want to create a single texture/UVV map, that I can use to create a texture map.
However, I find that when I attach all the mesh objects to each other (Editable Mesh -> Element -> Edit Geometry -> Attach), and then navigate to the Unwrap UVV map modifer, I find that the texture maps are now overlaid on top of each other.
Questions 1. One method I am attempting is to create material channels for each of the mesh objects. However, I find that am unable to select by material channel in the UVV Map view. Is there a way to do so
2. Is there any method to ensure that I am able to select, edit and move entire armour components, in the UVV map view, without having to sort through individual components?
3. Are there more practical solutions to create a 'unified' texture map?
I would be grateful for any suggestions this community would have

Questions like this belong in the textures and meshes section.
Relocating.
