I can't post in the ME3Explorers Modders area, so this is the next best place to ask this.
Has anyone who mods the game looked into Genesis 2 DLC to see how it works? I watched it on youtube tonight and it immediately struck me that it could be a perfect method to add in new story content to the game in a way that feels more natural than through private terminal chains and spectre messages. I've not got the DLC, but has anyone else? If you have looked into it, what did you find?
From viewing the video I'm unsure if its a series of videos with conversation choices being used to dictate which ones load, or if it is a scripted piece of work within a pcc file.

This is the perfect place to post questions like these. The Modders subfora is for content modders currently working on or having previously released content mods. Discussion there is centered around the active development of those projects. They are complimentary boards. Modders rank is granted at the discretion of the Administrators.
I own the DLC but I haven't had a real look at it no. It's an interesting thought.

I'm not sure yet actually. It's got one bik. I don't see any tfc files that I think would house other biks or even textures. So my first glance is that I don't know how they make it work exactly. It is impressive the amount of granularity baked into the sequences though; that is impressive.

You can find all the textures related to the comic by searching for "page" in Texplorer. You can see multiple variations of some pages, as well as the masks they use to stack pictures.

So it is a scripted event rather than a succession of videos, that's pretty interesting actually, could open up avenues for story mods.
