I actually do like contained stories, which is the OT will always be the best to me anyway.
My question is really, what do all of these eyebrows feel about having Asari?

Ok, so it's looking more and more like SP DLC is deader than a vorcha goon on Omega, but you know what BioWare is saying is not dead? The Batarians are coming to MEA Muliplayer.... wait, what? Batarians and New Difficulty in MEA MPSource: Mass Effect Official Twitter Just..... f*ck you, BioWare. F*CK. YOU. EDIT: Ok, aside from the OBVIOUSLY HUGE ISSUE of how the flying f*ck the batarians got to Andromeda (and their total lack of presence in the game's plot), am I the only one who thinks that the batarians' design looks really off compared to their appearance in the ME Trilogy?

EDIT: Ok, aside from the OBVIOUSLY HUGE ISSUE of how the flying f*ck the batarians got to Andromeda (and their total lack of presence in the game's plot), am I the only one who thinks that the batarians' design looks really off compared to their appearance in the ME Trilogy? That was actually my first thought when I saw them. Too angular/straight on the faces; not bulbous enough from what I saw in a few seconds of looking. Also, yes, how the flying @()! did they get to Andromeda? I don't even care what they lampshade or try to hand wave at this point; they really did not understand why the various species in the OT made sense and why just having them show up in Andromeda isn't going to make everything ok. Speaking of which, when I was first playing the game I thought, dang, this should have only been Asari heading to Adromeda. We should have been flipping Asari and then had to find the various species, etc. Wait, speculation on ideas. No point to do that now.

So, fun fact (if you actually give a crap) about how in the flying, flipping hell a batarian made it to Andromeda, well you can now find out.... via the Batarian Scrapper's in-game bio in MP and his Character Intro video put out today by BW: Long story short, the Batarian Scrapper is a former pirate who defected to the Alliance in exchange for asylum and traveled to Andromeda on the Salarian Ark.... and none of this information or content will EVER make it's way into SP, so who gives a sh*t? Once again, f*ck you BioWare

Once again, f*ck you BioWare All they would need to do is add a news terminal email that discusses the batarian being woken from stasis and add the harpoon gun to SP and that would be enough to at least acknowledge their existence in the lore and make it so SP players are left out. It doesn't take much.

I finally finished playing Andromeda. I had avoided Andromeda videos and articles so as not to spoil anything. I started watching videos and reading posts now..........Holy shit. If I see the term "SJW" one more fucking time.
I noticed nothing remotely "SJW" like what these assholes are bitching about. Does that mean I'm one? lol

(like how Sara Ryder looks jack-all nothing like what her real-life model looks like) Honestly speaking, all this time I just thought it was because Studio Montreal couldn't model worth a sh*t.

It makes for good fun. avpen , I do think it's a modeling thing as well. My hunch is, at least in the case of Sara, that Bioware may have focused more energy on Scott. I started as a female Ryder on day one and after some pretty bad animations switched to a male Ryder. Patch 1.05 hadn't come out yet and I swear Scott didn't have as many terrible looking moments. I went with custom Ryders in both cases; perhaps that was it. I don't know. I still am not a huge and crazy fan of Andromeda as I still think Mass Effect 1 was the pinnacle of Mass Effect story and it's gone downhill from there. But I still do like the main story and relationship quests quite a bit and I do think that if I stick to those next time that my view of MEA will go up.

The only SJW bit I noticed was when an asari was claiming that asari sometimes use gender-male or gender-neutral terms to define themselves. That seemed particularly bollocks in light of them being an all-female species and not even having a word for Patriarch in their language. Other than that though, a lot of the yells about characters being made ugly, primarily Sara Ryder, are rubbish. Sara Ryder's a cutie!

So BioWare has officially confirmed what I think we already knew - ME:A will NOT be getting any Single-Player DLC, nor will it be receiving any further SP patches or updates: MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA Update from the Studio
Honestly, I've become too jaded with MEA in the last few months to even give BioWare and EA a "F*ck you" at this point, though they really deserve one...

And yes, there we have it avpen . Confirmed what we all knew was coming. It's so sad to see it dwindle out this this. That said, a vacation can bring much clarity. I'm looking out over a beautiful view and all the mis-steps that were ME:A seem to be a distant memory. I guess it's all about perspective and long live the original trilogy!
